Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Neubo iOS app and the website at neubo.safrow.com (together, the “Service”), provided by Safrow (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Neubo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Neubo is
Neubo is a general wellness tool for personal self-reflection: mood check-ins, breathing and grounding practices, and gentle focus activities. It is offered in the App Store Health & Fitness category.
Not medical care. Neubo does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for professional advice, therapy, or emergency services. Always seek qualified care when you need it.
3. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the App Store under Apple’s rules and the laws of your country. The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age required where you live).
4. Your use
You agree to use Neubo only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service except as allowed by law
- Misrepresent the Service as clinical care or emergency support
- Use the Service in any way that could harm others
5. Your content on device
Entries you create (check-ins, notes, practice history) remain on your device unless you export or share them yourself. We do not host that content on our servers. You are responsible for backing up your device if you want to keep local data.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains that the app is designed not to collect personal data. Please read it carefully.
7. Intellectual property
Neubo, Miro (the mascot), the app design, text, and branding are owned by Safrow or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not use our marks without permission, except as needed to use the app normally.
8. App Store
If you download Neubo from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard EULA or the Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple may be a third-party beneficiary of these Terms as required by Apple.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your needs or be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFROW AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ZERO IF THE APP WAS FREE).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
11. Crisis and safety
If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line. Neubo is not monitored and cannot send help. A public directory of helplines is available at findahelpline.com.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
